We require 48 hours notice so that we can reallocate your appointment time to another customer on our waiting list. If you do not cancel within that 48 hour window a service fee will be applied because we are unable to fill your time slot. If you are not home at the time of the appointment without letting the groomer know, there will be a service charge up to the full cost of services. Unpaid service fees will result in suspended service until the fee is paid.
If at all possible we encourage you to find a way to have someone available to keep the appointment. We also offer latch-key services, so you can just leave us access to the home/dog and come home to a happy, groomed, friend.
If you are unable to make your appointment or projected pre-book date, you will have to be placed on the waiting list. With a full schedule we do not have room to reschedule the appointment. We are unable to move you to the week before/after because all of those appointment slots are accounted for. In this case you are effectively are giving up your spot to someone on the waiting list who takes over your spot on that rotation and you will have to wait until something else becomes available. We wish we had a more open/flexible schedule to accommodate cancellations, but we do not at this time.
We offer the option to pay a holding fee, which is typically the full cost of services, to keep hold your spot on the rotation.

We require all dog clients to be on a reoccurring 4 or 6 week schedule.
Cats are required to be every 12 weeks.
Regular dog grooming is essential for several reasons:
Maintaining Coat Health: Regular grooming helps keep your dog's coat in optimal condition. It prevents matting, tangles, and excessive shedding, promoting a healthy and shiny coat. Grooming also allows for the early detection of skin issues, parasites, or any abnormalities that may require veterinary attention.
Skin Care: Grooming involves proper cleaning of your dog's skin, which helps remove dirt, debris, and excess oils. Regular bathing and brushing can prevent skin problems such as dryness, itching, and infections. It also improves blood circulation and stimulates natural oil production, resulting in healthier skin.
Comfort and Hygiene: Regular grooming ensures your dog's comfort and hygiene. Trimming nails prevents overgrowth and potential injuries. Cleaning ears reduces the risk of infections. Regular dental care helps prevent dental diseases. Grooming also includes sanitary trims to keep sensitive areas clean and reduces the chance of skin irritation or infections.
Preventing Health Issues: Regular grooming enables the early detection of health issues or abnormalities. Groomers often observe changes in a dog's skin, coat, ears, teeth, or overall body condition that may require further examination by a veterinarian. Early detection can lead to timely treatment and prevent more serious health complications.
Behavioral Well-being: Grooming sessions provide an opportunity for positive human-dog interaction and bonding. Regular grooming helps dogs become accustomed to being handled, reducing anxiety and stress during future grooming visits. It also promotes good behavior by reinforcing calmness and positive associations with grooming activities.
Overall Appearance: Regular grooming enhances your dog's overall appearance. A well-groomed dog looks and feels great, boosting their confidence and happiness. Grooming can include stylish haircuts, breed-specific trims, or creative grooming techniques that showcase your dog's personality.
If you are unable to make a day or time work for any reason you will have to be added to the cancellation list.

At Wright Mobile Grooming, we prioritize the health and well-being of all pets we serve. To maintain a clean and flea-free environment, we have a strict flea policy in place.
Flea Screening: Before each grooming session, we conduct a thorough visual inspection of your pet's coat to check for any signs of fleas or ticks. If we detect fleas or ticks, we will notify you immediately and discuss the necessary steps for treatment.
Flea Infestation Protocol: If we encounter a severe flea infestation during the grooming session, we will suspend the grooming process to avoid the risk of spreading fleas to other pets or our equipment. We will work with you to develop a plan for flea treatment and reschedule the grooming session once the infestation is resolved.
Preventive Measures: We strongly recommend that all pets are on a regular flea prevention program. This helps prevent flea infestations and ensures the well-being of your pet. If your pet is not on a flea prevention program, we may advise you to consult with a veterinarian to establish an appropriate prevention regimen.
Clean and Sanitized Equipment: We follow strict cleaning and sanitization procedures for our grooming equipment and mobile salon after each appointment. This helps maintain a hygienic environment and minimizes the risk of cross-contamination.
Please note that our flea policy is in place to protect the health of all pets we serve. By adhering to this policy, we can maintain a safe and flea-free environment for both your pet and other animals we groom.

The duration of a mobile grooming appointment can vary depending on various factors, including the size of your pet, the type of grooming services requested, and the condition of your pet's coat. However, as a general guideline, mobile grooming appointments typically range from 1 to 3 hours.
Smaller dogs or pets requiring basic grooming services like a bath, brush, and nail trim may have shorter appointment times, usually around 1 to 1.5 hours.
